Terms of Service
Last updated: March 15, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DMCoPilot, a Chrome browser extension and associated services operated by Unfair Advantage Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By installing, accessing, or using DMCoPilot, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of service
DMCoPilot is an AI-powered writing assistant for LinkedIn. It helps you draft personalised LinkedIn messages, comments, and posts. The extension operates within the Chrome browser side panel and reads publicly visible LinkedIn content to generate contextual drafts.
DMCoPilot is a drafting tool, not an automation tool. It generates text suggestions for you to review, edit, and manually send. DMCoPilot never sends messages, posts, comments, connection requests, or performs any action on LinkedIn on your behalf.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to use DMCoPilot. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Account registration
To use DMCoPilot, you must create an account using a valid email address and password, or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@unfairadvantage.ltd if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use DMCoPilot in compliance with all applicable laws and LinkedIn's Terms of Service. You agree not to:
- Use DMCoPilot to send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or deceptive content.
- Use the service to harass, threaten, defame, or abuse any person.
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or subscription restrictions.
- Use DMCoPilot in conjunction with LinkedIn automation tools to send messages, connection requests, or perform automated actions.
- Use the service to generate content that is illegal, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or promotes violence.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, AI prompts, or proprietary algorithms of the service.
- Share your account credentials with others or operate multiple free accounts to circumvent usage limits.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide access to DMCoPilot to third parties without our written consent.
- Use DMCoPilot to scrape LinkedIn data for purposes unrelated to drafting your own outreach messages.
5. Subscriptions and billing
DMCoPilot offers a free tier with limited usage and paid subscription tiers (Pro, Growth, Max) with increased limits and additional features.
- Billing cycle: Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. Payment is processed by Stripe.
- Free trial: If a free trial is offered, it will be clearly stated at signup. At the end of the trial, your subscription will convert to a paid plan unless cancelled.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe billing portal accessible from the extension's Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.
- Price changes: We may adjust subscription prices with 30 days' written notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
- Refunds: We generally do not provide refunds. If you experience a technical issue that prevented you from using the service for a significant portion of your billing period, contact support@unfairadvantage.ltd and we will review your case.
6. Usage limits
Each subscription tier has defined limits on AI-generated drafts, comments, posts, and saved prospects per month. These limits are described on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time. Unused allocations do not carry over between billing periods.
7. AI-generated content
- Ownership: You own the content that DMCoPilot generates for you. We do not claim intellectual property rights over AI-generated drafts.
- Accuracy: AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, fabricated details, or inappropriate suggestions. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before sending it on LinkedIn.
- No guarantee: We do not guarantee that AI-generated messages will achieve specific outcomes (replies, meetings, sales). DMCoPilot is a writing assistant, not a guarantee of results.
8. LinkedIn compliance
DMCoPilot is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn. You are responsible for ensuring your use of DMCoPilot complies with LinkedIn's User Agreement and Professional Community Policies. We design DMCoPilot to work within LinkedIn's guidelines by never automating actions, but we cannot guarantee that LinkedIn will not change their policies or enforcement practices.
9. Intellectual property
DMCoPilot, including its code, design, AI prompts, algorithms, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Unfair Advantage Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the extension for its intended purpose during your active subscription. This licence does not grant you the right to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service.
10. Data and privacy
Your use of DMCoPilot is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using DMCoPilot, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Service availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the DMCoPilot service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control (including changes to LinkedIn's platform, API outages, or infrastructure issues). We are not liable for any losses arising from service interruptions.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- DMCoPilot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, business opportunities, or reputation.
- Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not responsible for actions taken by LinkedIn against your account, including restrictions, suspensions, or bans, regardless of whether those actions are related to your use of DMCoPilot.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Unfair Advantage Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of DMCoPilot, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights (including LinkedIn's terms).
14. Termination
- By you: You may stop using DMCoPilot and delete your account at any time by contacting support@unfairadvantage.ltd.
- By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or if we reasonably believe your use of the service poses a risk to other users or our infrastructure. We will provide notice where practical.
- Effect of termination: Upon termination, your access to the service ceases. We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, except where retention is required by law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of DMCoPilot shall be resolved through the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer in the EU, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights under the laws of your country of residence.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the extension at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of DMCoPilot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the service and cancel your subscription.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
